When I’m looking at boat blogs on the Internet I’m always curious to know what equipment they have on board, so here’s a list for Tammy Norie.

The list is incomplete as of 2017-09-06 and doesn’t include model details for all the equipment. I’m working on it.

Note that some of these items came with the boat and aren’t necessarily what I’d recommend to buy.

Boat: Newbridge Coromandel with the Haslar-McLeod rig

Tender: Sea Eagle SE330 Pro

Engine: Honda BF100 (10hp two cylinder 4-stroke outboard)

Battery: Platinum SD685L (75ah sealed deep-cycle leisure battery) charged by two Nasa Marine 20W panel and CMP12 solar regulator.

Main anchor: 5kg Bruce on 10m × 10mm chain and 14mm nylon anchorplait rode

Kedge anchor: 1kg Bruce on 2m × 6mm chain and 10mm polypropylene rode

Storm anchor: 11kg galvanized Mantus

Life raft: none

Flares: Hansson Coastal flare pack

Winches: none

Lights: Bi-colour on pulpit and white on pushpit with replacement LEDs. Force 4 utility anchor light (IRPCS rule 23(d)(2) means I can also use this for steaming). Experimental all-round white masthead light.

VHF: Standard Horizon GX2200E (includes GPS and AIS) + Icom IC-M1Euro V (handheld)

Water tanks: Plastimo 16657 (200 litre flexible) + 50 litre spare polythene container + 2 × 10 litre folding camping spares

Depth: Nasa Clipper Duet with transducer in bonded oil pot (no skin fitting)
